Eugene Simon

Melbourne

Eugene Simon is a British actor, born in London in 1992. Eugene's childhood love for reciting poems from Roald Dahl's "Dirty Beasts" sparked his interest in acting, and he began his career in theatre at the age of 8 with the role of Archie in James Joyce's "Exiles". At twelve, Eugene was the younger self to Heath Ledger's "Casanova", and at thirteen performed the lead role of Gerald Durrell in the BBC's adaptation of "My Family and Other Animals". Eugene continued to work throughout his time at Downside School in a number of commercials and most notably as Young Ben Hur in Drimtim Entertainment's "Ben Hur".

On his 18th birthday, Eugene was offered roles in both "Game of Thrones" & "House of Anubis". Between filming the two shows, Eugene debuted in his first US films; "Before I Sleep" as fictional poet Eugene Devlin alongside "Harry Potter" star Bonnie Wright, and the Lord of the Flies-inspired movie "Eden", as US soccer player Kennefick.

Eugene performed for three seasons as Jerome Clarke on "House of Anubis" and six seasons as Lancel Lannister on "Game of Thrones". Recently he has appeared in "Genius", as Eduard, the son of Geoffrey Rush's Albert Einstein, and has a starring role in the upcoming horror film, "The Lodgers".
