What Are Tokens?

Want to get a photograph or autograph with your favourite celebrity guest during your visit to Oz Comic-Con? You’ve got to grab a token. Tokens are released as guests are announced. 
Autograph Tokens – These allow you to get something signed by a celebrity.
Photograph Tokens – These allow you to have a professional photograph of yourself taken with a celebrity of which you will receive an 8×10 print.

What Are meet & greets

A meet and greet is an opportunity to get to know your favourite celebrity in a small group setting (max 25 people), in a quiet, relaxed space off the showfloor. You will have an opportunity to chat and ask questions; hanging out with your guest for half an hour, and at the end we’ll take a group photo so you’ll always remember your special experience! The group photo will be emailed to you after the event. 

MY TICKET INCLUDES A MEET & GREET. WHERE DO I GO?

Info on where and what time to meet will be emailed out to you the week of the event, in order to maintain the privacy of the meet and greet location.

  • Tokens purchased online will need to be redeemed for a physical token at the token booth when you arrive at the show.
  • Photos will be printed instantly and available to collect just after you leave the photo booth!
  • You can purchase digital copies of your photo to keep on your computer!
  • You will only need to arrive a few minutes before each scheduled photo session.

As always, the tokens will be available online and at the event itself.

Talent reserves the right to modify precautions at any time due to comfort level at the time of the event.

We are making plexiglass barriers available as an option to celebrities during autograph sessions. Each celebrity may choose to utilize it or not up until the time of their autograph session. Just as personal preferences are fluid, so is the situation and we appreciate your understanding!
Touching the guests during photo sessions will be at the guests discretion. Poses may be requested if they are not touch based. If the guests request no contact during photo sessions you agree to abide by this request on purchasing a token. 

FAQs

There are a limited number of tokens available for purchase online right now at the button above. All other tokens can be bought at our token booth on the day of the event.

Each guest has a listed photograph session time (you can find these closer to the event on the website and mobile app). Before the schedule is released, simply select the day you would like to get your photo.  On the day take the token redemption code you receive when you purchased your tokens to the token booth and exchange them for physical tokens to redeem at the photo booth and autograph tables.

Your professional photographs are printed onsite and will be available just after you leave the photo area. If you purchase a digital copy it will be emailed to you.

You may have up to four people in a photograph with a listed guest unless otherwise stated on our website. Children 4 and under do not count as part of this limit.

Autographs are available from each guest. You can find the cost per autograph listed on the token page. Once you have purchased your token (either on the day or online), be sure to line up at the appropriate time for the guest you are interested in. You must have a token for each autograph that you desire. Autographs are not sold for a specific time during the day so you can redeem it at any available session that day.

You can have your own item signed if the guest allows. Before you reach the guest, a member of the Oz Comic-Con team will let you know if your item is appropriate and will be signed by the guest. If you do not have your own item, each guest will have several complimentary 8×10 images available for you to choose from. Please note too that some guests may not personalise autographs.

Sorry, but guests will not accept any homemade foods or perishables. Instead, share your delicious creation with your family and friends!

Sorry, but tokens are non-refundable and must be redeemed on the specified day of purchase. Lost or stolen tokens will not be replaced.

If you didn’t receive a confirmation e-mail the e-mail could be incorrect or the payment hasn’t been processed. If you are concerned you can send an email to info@ozcomiccon.com or visit us at the token booth on site.

All you need for the show is a print out of your Token confirmation email or bring it with you on your phone. We always recommend printing it as a backup. Bring it to the token booth when you arrive at the show and exchange it for physical tokens to be redeemed at the photo booth and autograph tables.

Your friend will need the token redemption code issued in your confirmation e-mail, the confirmation email itself or the physical Token purchased at the token booth. 

No, your token can only be used once at the show.

Don’t worry. Only a limited quantity of tokens are being made available online. You’ll still be able to purchase tokens onsite.

TOKENS POLICY

Oz Comic-Con provides the opportunity for you to meet with a celebrity during our event. You can do this by either purchasing Autograph or Photograph Tokens.

Autograph Tokens – This allows you to get something signed by a celebrity. We will have a selection of various headshots available for you to choose from in the autographing area that are included with the price of the token. Alternatively, you may bring your own item to be signed; however, it must be approved by the team in the autographing area. As a general rule, body parts and unlicensed merchandise will not be signed. Other conditions may apply.

Photograph Tokens – This allows you to have a professional photograph of yourself taken with a celebrity. The photo will be taken by our staff in a professional photobooth and you will be provided a single copy of the photo in the form of a physical print afterwards. You may have up to four people total in the photo, unless otherwise noted. The price of the photograph is per photo and print, not per person. You may also purchase additional prints or a digital copy that will be emailed to you. Photos are available with individual guests as well as certain groups of guests.

Tokens cannot be refunded once purchased for change of mind. In the event of a guest cancellation any tokens purchased for that guest will be refunded. 

Autographs and photographs are redeemed in their own designated areas during the hours of Oz Comic-Con. There will be set times that each token can be redeemed and Tokens must be redeemed on the specified date (e.g. Saturday tokens may only be used on Saturday of the event). For example, Guest A may be available to take photos between 9:00am and 10:00 am, as well as 2:00pm and 3:00pm on Saturday. Similarly they may have multiple times they can provide autographs. You may use your token at any autograph or photograph session as long as it is used on the specified day of the token. Individual autograph sessions may become full so it is advised to line up early at a session and not to wait until the last session of the day to redeem your token.

Please note: Tokens are available to purchase online before a full event schedule is available. Please take this into consideration when purchasing as tokens will not be refunded if you order too many to complete on a single day.
