OZ COMIC-CON PROPS POLICY

  • Oz Comic-Con takes its commitment to ensuring the safety of its fans seriously and as such has instituted a prop policy for both the general attendees and exhibitors. This policy takes into consideration state legislation that is valid at the time of writing and venue /security policies. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to be aware of changes to weapons legislation within each state they trade. Oz Comic-Con requires all fans to have their props checked by Oz Comic-Con staff upon entering the event. There will be a Prop Inspection Station located at the main entrance of the show. Props deemed in breach of this policy will not be permitted entry and must be cloaked if the fan wishes to attend the event. Please see the Fan Prop Policy: https://ozcomiccon.com/cosplay/policies/prop-policy/ for a full list of items that are permitted/banned. Exhibitors must adhere to this policy and may not bring any prop or costume element that would be banned under the Fan Prop Policy. Exceptions will only be given for displays on exhibitor stands that have prior approval from Oz Comic-Con.
